June 11th, 2007 -writing
Hey everyone! We have been spending a lot of time writing a new record and will spend the next 4 months or so writing, demoing, practicing, drawing, painting, blogging, vlogging...plogging (photo logging?)...you name it.
We want you all to come along for the ride through the whole writing process, so we are going to keep you all up to date with videos and any other media we can get our hands on so you can catch a glimpse of new songs. Below is a video that Jason and David did this weekend while working on some new songs. This is one of about 30 songs that David has writting for the new CD and it is tentatively called "Julia". May 18th, 2007 - Destroyed Van...
So it was a nice day here in Oakland NJ...and then a storm rolled in. Lighting struck a looming, enormous tree in my backyard causing it to fall and crash down onto our tour van (and the house I live in). The whole right side of our van is smashed in. The van is un-drivable and the cost to fix all of the damages far exceeds the actual worth of the automobile itself. It's going to be months before we see any compensation from our insurance company and even if, it will only cover a fraction of what the van is worth.
In other words: we're pretty fucked.
Over the last 2 years we've really worked our asses off. We've played countless shows, worked ridiculous 20 hour days, spent endless nights writing, planning, booking and designing... but like most bands, we're completely broke. We do this because music is our lives. It's what we know how to do. But with a crushed van, we have no way to tour, we are limited in the shows we play, we are out the thousands and thousands of dollars we've invested in it and are unable to do what we love.
This is something we never thought we'd have to ask... but, we need your help. We've set up a PayPal fund for those who'd be willing to donate. Every penny would help...

Our good friend and visual mastermind Stephen Wuensch (director of the Nadine video) has a new project that we would like you all to be a part of. He is going to be filming a feature length, no-budget film titled "The Lee Shore", where you the viewer send in your comments, ideas and even get a chance to star in it. JULY 2nd, 2006
Sadly, do to events way beyond our control and scope, we had to drop off of this year's Summerfest. Our deepest apologies go out to those who planned on coming out and seeing our set. We love all of you and promise to make it up to you soon.
On a lighter, more positive note, we have just set the date for our record release party! It will be our NJ home, Maxwell's in Hoboken NJ on August 9th. Some of our VERY good friends will be playing this show... we hope to see as many of you there as possible.

So, we have been added to the east coast run of dated of the Urban Legends, Suburban Hymns tour presented by PureVoleume.com. MAY 26th, 2006 - NEW SHOW, VIDEO & more
First off, THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the NYC and MA shows. It was great meeting all of you and we had an amazing time. We have added a new show on 6/28 in New York City with our good, good friends Kiss Kiss (Eyeball Records) and The Anthem (a new and amazing band from NY).
Also... the video is FINISHED! After months and months of telling you about the trailer and promising "more info", it's finally done. The bad thing is that we aren't posting it just yet, but within the next few weeks prepare for an epic New London Fire event. The video, directed by Jeycob Carlson, surpassed all of our hopes and expectations and looks like it cost about 1 bizillion dollars.

MARCH 11th, 2006 - road update
Hello everyone. So far the tour has been going great and we've met some people along the way that we sure as hell will never forget. We have added some new SHOWS to the mix (Oklahoma City w/ The Velvet Teen and another SXSW showcase w/ Action Action). Check out the tour section for more info.

MARCH 4th, 2006 - UPDATES
We have many things to update you on. For one, we have updated our tour dates, including SXSW. Come visit. We like your company. Along with bringing rock with us, we will also have EPs for sale as well as new t-shirt designs. Selling these helps us travel from place to place.
We're very close to finishing up the video for the song "Different". Director Jeycob Carlson is putting finishing touches on filming, editing and we will have the final product very soon. For now, to tickle your fancy, we have posted up a VIDEO TRAILER on youtube.com.
We have started developing our very own STREET TEAM, The New London Fire Brigade. For more info and to join, email team@newlondonfire.com. NLF's Jon Lam, who is running the team, will get back to you ASAP with something, hopefully, coherent.
New London Fire has gone out and purchased a new tour van. It will smell like human being in a matter of days. We have not come up with a name for it, but I feel that after a few arduous band meetings we will all agree on something.
